Informative Vs. Persuasive

-My persuasive speech was much clearer
-My persuasive speech had better eye contact
-i still need better eye contact and not look down at my cards so much
-my persuasive speech had a good introduction with a hook, unlike my informative speech
-my persuasive speech had a good conclusion that summed up the speech, which i didn't do in my informative speech

How To Speech Review

My how to speech was my best speech so far. I did a much better job at looking around the room, and covering all of the areas. I needed to have more length for my speech, including better step by step directions. Also, i needed more overall information on frisbbe golf, instead of just having basic information. I missed a couple things in my speech, but overall it was good, and better than my other speechs, so far.

Big Red Machine Speech

My second speech was not as well done as my first speech. I spoke way too quickly, which in turn mad my speech very short. I lacked eye contact and looked off of the powerpoint a couple of times. Instead of just glancing off my note cards and talking about my topic, I read straight off my cards which made me not look at the audience. My next speech i need to talk slower and and make better eye contact with my audience.

The television show King of Queens is an example of situational humor. The showis a sitcom and has many ongoing characters that he audience comes to know

Hyberpole

An example for a hyperbole would be the television show Family Guy. Many times in the show things that normaly happen in life are extremely exaggerated.

Black Humor

An example for black humor is the television show Two and a Half Men. The show deals with many topics that would be considered by many viewers as taboo. Since the show deals with these subjects it is classified as black humor.

My name is Chris Matre and i am 17 years old and I am a junior at Anderson High School. I play tennis for Anderson. I enjoy playing frisse bee golf in my free time, and also ultimate frisbee.
